Had A Great Trip
Hubby and I stopped off at several antique shops along the way to St. Charles IL last Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.  I had to buy 'small' as the intention of this trip was for hubby to purchase items at the Chicagoland Gemeroom show to bring home to resell or add to our collection.  And our truck was FULL, hubby was kidding and said I might have to take a Greyhound home.I HAVE to get this off my chest first.  I can't tell you how many antique stores we went into where an item ( usually more than 2 in a booth ) did not have a price on it.  Naturally these were the items I was interested in purchasing.  Dealers..........please, plea

Hi everyone, hubby and I left home on Sunday for our Chicago trip and stopped off in several towns along the way to do some antiquing.  I picked up a few things and will post pics when I get home Sunday night.The weather has been awesome - some cloudy days but warm.  Great for traveling.  We arrived in St. Charles yesterday afternoon.  Hubby went over to the Kane County Fairgrounds at 8 am to look for some goodies for himself and I got to sleep in and take my time showering and dressing and getting on the motel's guest computer to check emails and what-not.  We are going to Geneva this morning to The Country Store of Geneva - a really c
