ThriftyGirl Fashions – 2-piece dress suit
Don’t you just love my latest sewing fashion? I do! We were finally able to get some pictures of my new two-piece dress suit this past weekend. The dress and jacket are made from chocolate brown linen-like material. The jacket is lined with a light brown polyester material. The jacket is outfitted with an antique, over sized button along with crocheted button loop. This is such a great addition to my Fall wardrobe.
Fall Weekend
Another beautiful day. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. After rolling out of bed, quite quickly, I drove down the street for another sewing lesson and to finish up my brown linen jacket. There were a few finishing touches that needed to be made and finally it’s finished! Hubs is going to set up the studio tomorrow to take some pictures.
Once home and after my throbbing 4-hour headache went away, I worked a little on Neo’s Halloween costume. I’m not exactly sure what he’s going to be but it involves a black cloak. After going cross-eyed from sewing, I spruced up the house a little and Muzikchik and I ran a few errands, but fam

Fall has ARRIVED! It’s a toss up as to which season I yearn for the most, but summer and winter definitely trail fall and spring. Fall and Spring both have cooler temperatures and lots of color. Fall usually bring more of a holiday feeling, but spring (usually) means a busy academic year is coming to a close. Regardless, Fall is here and we are LOVING the cooler weather.
