less than one month...
i have a confession.  last night i totally put up our xmas tree.  also, i have bought and wrapped almost 20 gifts now.  i know, i kinda hate myself too.  it's funny, because while i don't like xmas itself...i mean, i'm not religious and i kinda hate rampant waste and consumerism...i do love a lot of things about the holiday season.  like the pretty lights.  and all the awesome food and excessive drinking.and getting to see friends and family.  and honestly, i kinda love the snow too.  when it happens.  this year, i'm trying not to be such a scrooge.  i'm throwing an xmas eve open house.

things left undone
i woke up morning.  sick.without any warning...and it sucks ass.  i can't breathe through my nose, i'm coughing and feel miserable.  and it sucks ass.  especially since i have quite the busy weekend lined up... starting with tonight.  i'm super bummed because my husband and i actually have tickets to a concert tomorrow and are actually going to leave the house and do something together.  this doesn't happen often, so it's kind of a special occasion.  so i hope i feel better tomorrow.  we have tickets to see USS with Daniel Wesley at the Commodore.  i'm pretty stoked on it... i love love love USS

other things i did this weekend...
it's a good thing i never promised any of y'all an attempt at nanoblopo because my november blogging has been a bit shameful.  to be honest... there's too much going on in other internet forums for me to totally give blogging the attention it deserves this month.*cough cough new moon*and to be brutally honest, i failed miserably at nanowrimo this year too.  i made it to over 10,000 words.  so that's something.  but then i got busy, i started missing days, struggling to catch up... and then i kinda lost interest in my story, lol.  so it's saved and backed up... and maybe one day i'll get around to finishing it.  i'm pretty ple

the post all about new moon
this weekend had been like a hot punch to the throat.  and oh ya, it's only saturday.  fucking rights.  i'll start in the obvious place...thursday night's new moon party and viewing.  wow.  first.  the party...it was great.  the room was nicely full, i was pleased with the turnout...we had so many prizes that almost everyone walked away with something...AND the freaking producer of the movie was there!  how cool is that?  i guess he heard about it on twitter.  and then... the movie.  the producer intro'd the film and thanked the fans in vancouver for being awesome and said

tonight is the night!
omg omg omg omg omg.the wait is over. tonight is New Moon.  finally.  my friend saw the cast & crew screening last night... and it's good.  i mean, i knew it would be... (let's face it, can't be worse than twilight)but i'm glad to hear a friend confirm that it's good.  i can not wait until 10pm.  ...and then we're going back to see it tomorrow at 1pm.  just to get the full effect, since tonight's viewing is bound to be VERY distracting.  tonight is also my pre-party before.  and can i just say thank you thank you thank you to all my friends that have bought a ticket and are coming down to sup
