I am an amateur photographer. I live in south Georgia now in a old pecan orchard. I've just recently moved my office to my home.
Prior to moving to Georgia I lived in central Florida for 31 years. I was born and raised in Massachusetts.
I enjoy wine, food, my 3 SisterDears, tiaras, family, friends, nature, music, quotations, haiku and blogging.
I’m crazy about my two gray cats, Gandalf and Grayson, and my mostly white cat Whitey. If you spend any amount of time visiting me here you will see them fairly often. |

Black Friday
… or as I’ve decided to call it “Back Friday”, because that’s all I saw – people’s backs!
So. This was my first and last Black Friday. OMG! I cannot believe people do this every year! I went for one thing, and one thing only, that 19″ TV I’ve been looking for. Walmart had it in their sale flyer asĀ available Today Only from 5-11am. So I arrived right at 5am and was absolutely amazed to see the par

Turkey’s delight?

My mother is making the stuffing as I type! Let the festivities begin!
Happy Thanksgiving! Big hugs xo
Over the river and through the woods
I snapped this photo from my car window with my iPhone so I sure hope you can see the dog. He was walking down the railroad tracks and he reminded me of those hobo-type shows I use to watch when I was a kid. I sure hope he finds a meal and a family.
The out-of-town guests began arriving yesterday! We’re doing it a little bit different this year. We’re having dinner at my best friends’ house a few doors down. Three of their four kids, a few gr

Well, there it is, in all its glory! Burn holes and all.
I finished painting the final coat on the windows in the kitchen and the mud room this morning. Then we went to ripping out the carpeting, pad, all those spikey carpet strips and all the staples in the pad. It’s been vacuumed and I’ll give a good washing before we start installing the floating floor. I decided to stick with the dark walnut that I used in my office. I haven’t seen anything I li
One Raspberry Mud Room. Check.
Looking from the very small Mud Room into the Kitchen. The Raspberry painting is DONE! I’ve just got to finish the white trim on the window and that’s DONE.
And now I’m taking my tired self home. I hear there’s a glass of wine with my name on it. And DiGiorno Flatbread Tuscan Style Chicken Pizza! My mother cooks a big meal every day except Saturday. Traditionally, we have either burgers n’ beans or hot dogs n’ beans on Saturday night, so this is
